Sash Lock Replacement Manchester

A sash lock combines a spring-loaded latch (operated by the door handle) and a key-operated deadbolt in a single mortice lock body. They're the standard lock on most wooden doors that have handles — providing both the convenience of a latching door and the security of a deadbolt in one unit. When the mechanism wears out — the latch sticks, the deadbolt jams, or the key becomes difficult to turn — we replace the entire sash lock with a new unit.

We fit sash locks in both 2.5-inch (64mm) and 3-inch (76mm) cases to match your existing door preparation. BS3621 certified sash locks are available for insurance-compliant external doors. We carefully remove the old lock, fit the new mechanism, and align the keep plate for perfect operation. Existing handles usually transfer to the new lock without modification.
